नए साल में केंद्रीय कर्मचारियों व पेंशनर्स के लिए बड़ी खुशखबरी है उन्हें 2021 में महंगाई भत्ता 4% बढ़कर मिलने की उम्मीद है। कर्मचारियों पेंशनर्स को अभी जुलाई 2020 से 7% महंगाई भत्ता देय है।
लेकिन यह भी नहीं मिल रहा है। भत्ते में जनवरी 2021 में 4% की वृद्धि होने की संभावना है। इससे देशभर के करीब डेढ़ करोड़ केंद्रीय कर्मचारी व पेंशनर लाभान्वित होंगे। यह लाभ विभिन्न राज्य सरकार के कर्मचारियों व पेंशनरों को भी मिलेगा।
केंद्र सरकार के श्रम मंत्रालय की ओर से लेबर ब्यूरो शिमला की ओर से हर माह महंगाई का औसत निकाल कर सूचकांक जारी किया जाता है। इसी के आधार पर केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों पेंशनर्स का साल में दो बार जनवरी व जुलाई माह में महंगाई भत्ता तय किया जाता है। यह महंगाई भत्ता पिछले 12 माह के औद्योगिक श्रमिकों के लिए उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक के आधार पर तय होता है। इसके आधार पर पिछले 12 माह के अवसर पर गणना की जाती है।
सिटीजन ब्रदर हुड के अध्यक्ष हरिशंकर तिवारी एजी ब्रदर हुड के पूर्व अध्यक्ष प्रयागराज बताते हैं कि नवंबर 2020 भोगता मूल्य सूचकांक जारी हो गया है। दिसंबर के सूचकांक में वृद्धि नहीं होती तो 12 माह का औसत सूचकांक 335. 25 रहेगा। इस आधार पर 1 जनवरी 2021 से कुल 28 फ़ीसदी महंगाई भत्ता जय हो चुका है। 1 जनवरी 2021 से महंगाई भत्ते में 4 फ़ीसदी बढ़ोतरी होगी।
